On October 15, 2014, an improvised explosive device was planted near the base of operations of the To Deng Protection Unit in Su-ngai Padi District, Narathiwat Province. The area of the fence wall where the dormitory is located was damaged by the force of the explosion, including the roof tiles that were damaged along a length of approximately 10 meters.
